RACING FOR TIME - OUR CAUSE
What does a racer do when a family member succumbs to Pancreatic Cancer, a disease that is difficult to detect and awareness of the warning signs is limited?
They go Racing For Time.
- Austin Berry Racing’s campaign, which is conducted every five years, is designed to raise both awareness and research funds for PanCan.org.
- The goal is to gain more time for people through raising their awareness of the warning signs and by developing early detection methods.
- More advance notice, more time, means higher survival rates. The current 5 year survival rate is only 9%.
