Sandvig Motorsports is thrilled to announce that JJ Hickle will be taking the wheel of the No. 7 410 Sprint Car for the upcoming 2024 racing season. With a proven track record and a passion for speed, Hickle brings a wealth of experience and talent to the team, and Sandvig Motorsports is excited to see what they can achieve together on the track.

Hickle spent the majority of his 2023 racing season competing with the All Star Circuit of Champions as a rookie contender on the tour before dropping off the tour just past the midway point of the year. As he looks to put that experience to use in 2024, Hickle expressed his enthusiasm about joining Sandvig Motorsports.

“I’m honored to be a part of the Sandvig Motorsports team and excited to drive the No. 7 410 Sprint Car. I believe we have the potential for a successful season, and I’m looking forward to the challenges and victories that lie ahead.”

In addition to the driver announcement, Sandvig Motorsports is actively seeking sponsorships for the 2024 racing season to enhance their program and maximize their performance on the track. The team welcomes potential sponsors to join them on this thrilling journey and invites interested parties to reach out for partnership opportunities.

Last year saw Brooke Tatnell, Lynton Jeffrey, and Ian Madsen pilot the Sandvig Motorsports car at various times, mainly throughout the Midwest. While Sandvig is thankful for all the drivers’ efforts last season, he is looking forward to continuing to build on his program with a different level of consistency in 2024 and believes Hickle is the guy to get them there.

“We are proud to have JJ Hickle on board as our driver for the No. 7 410 Sprint Car. With his skill and dedication, coupled with the support of our fans and sponsors, we are confident that we can make a significant impact in the upcoming season.”

Sandvig Motorsports is currently working on finalizing the racing schedule for the 2024 season. An official schedule announcement is expected in the coming months as the team continues to prepare for an exciting and competitive year ahead. The goal is to compete at various events with different sanctions throughout the Mid-West, with some traveling possible dependent on sponsorship.

Kyle Reinhardt Showcased Abilities on and off the Track During Successful 2023 Season

New Oxford, PA – November 17, 2023

by Addicted2Dirt PR & Media Mgmt

Kyle Reinhardt approached the 2023 season as a rebuilding year.  With fewer resources at his disposal, than he had during the previous two seasons, the plan was to focus on Central Pennsylvania and other key events that made the most sense for his team.

His goals were to perform at the highest possible level on the track and work hard off the track to find partnerships that would allow him to expand his schedule.

Not only did he manage to check a lot of the boxes, including a couple that were unplanned, but he logged the best year of his 410 sprint car career thus far.

MAKING THE MOST OF WHAT YOU HAVE

Reinhardt came out of the gate strong in 2023, finishing tenth or better ten times in his first fifteen races.  After that strong start, he announced a new partnership with Coors Banquet beer, who came on board through Ace Distributing of PA.

Competing with the High Limit Series, the World of Outlaws, and All Star Circuit of Champions, as well as across Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Reinhardt entered 47 events in his familiar Capitol Renegade, Coors Banquet Beer, Henry’s Wrecker Service No.91, winning twice and finishing in the top ten 22 times.

It was exciting having Coors Banquet join our program this year.  We were able to make a few appearances for them, plus we had a few Coors Banquet beer showers.“, Reinhardt said with a smile, referring to his trips to victory lane that always included a Coors Banquet beer in hand when he climbed to the top of his wing to celebrate.

I think we represented them well and I hope we are able to continue to grow the partnership.  This is a great relationship for the future of our team as we continue to gain more partners moving forward.  A company like Molson Coors getting involved in our sport is a positive for all of us.

A GREAT FIT

In July, Reinhardt brought Chris Shuttlesworth on board as crew chief and turned his focus to driving.  The pair previously had success together when Shuttlesworth was a member of the John Westbrook 1W team that Reinhardt wheeled to a 360 sprint car title and several wins at Selinsgrove Speedway in 2019.

Shuttlesworth and Reinhardt reached victory lane twice in their 32 races together during the second half of the 2023 season.

Having the right guy to make the calls is huge.  Most of the time it has just been me and I think I did well but it’s a lot to manage.  Chris and I work well together.  I’m glad to have him.  I trust him to make the calls and I can focus on my job behind the wheel.“, Reinhardt commented.

CREATING OPPORTUNITIES

Just twenty-four hours before a late-July High Limit Series race at Grandview Speedway in Pennsylvania that was delayed a day by weather, Reinhardt’s phone rang.  Bernie Stuebgen of Indy Race Parts was in need of someone to wheel his No.71 at Grandview and he tabbed the Neptune City, NJ native for the job.

Despite never having sat in the car before, Reinhardt turned in an 8th-place run against a stout field.  The result of the unexpected opportunity turned heads.

Running well over the first few months of the season definitely led to opportunities.  I’ve driven for other people and I always appreciated those chances but this was definitely the first time I was called about a high-profile ride.  Bernie’s car is known across the country as a top-notch car and I really appreciated the opportunity he gave me.  We ran pretty well together too, especially considering it was only one night.“, Reinhardt said.

Days later, Bryan Grove called Reinhardt and asked him to wheel the Grove Racing No.45 on the All Star Circuit of Champions tour, beginning after the Knoxville Nationals in mid-August.

Reinhardt accepted and took Shuttlesworth with him on the venture.  The team gelled quickly, competing 13 times over a span of just five and a half weeks, recording one victory and seven top-ten finishes.

The Grove 45 team, Chris, and I worked really well together and the results showed.  We won a race and led a few others.  We could have won a couple more if things had shaken out a little differently, but that’s racing.

ASSESSING IT ALL AND LOOKING AHEAD

When the books closed on the 2023 season, Reinhardt’s stats told an impressive story about a successful rebuilding year.

Reinhardt entered 61 total races, finishing in the top ten 30 times, which included 3 wins and 13 top fives.  A top-ten run in 49.2% of the races entered is a notable improvement over the 26.6% he achieved in 2022.

The sum of all that is a win on and off the track.  The rebuilding may have been accomplished but there is still plenty of building to be done.  Reinhardt continues to look for partnerships to help grow his rising team.

I wish I could tell you our 2024 plans but right now we are waiting for schedules and other information like a lot of teams are.  Bryan (Grove) and I are talking too but we have to wait and see how things play out with the touring series and schedules before any of us can make a decision.  I would like to run a combination of High Limit and World of Outlaw events but we will have to wait and see.“, Reinhardt shared.

Reinhardt Captures $15,000 Oktoberfest Victory at Bridgeport

Will Close Out Season November 11th at BAPS Motor Speedway’s Final Showdown

Swedesboro, NJ – October 30, 2023

by Addicted2Dirt PR & Media Mgmt

Kyle Reinhardt has won a lot of races in his home state of New Jersey over the years, but the one box he had not checked yet was a 410 sprint car victory there.

Opportunities are not plentiful to do so given the rarity of 410 races in NJ but each time Bridgeport Motorsports Park has the sprint cars on the card, Reinhardt is there along with a large contingent of family and friends.

Reinhardt has been fast all year, including a top-five finish at Bridgeport with the highly competitive High Limit Series.  Back in May, he scored a runner-up finish at the Swedesboro track with the All Star Circuit of Champions.

This time $15,000 was up for grabs and Reinhardt was on a mission.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

Once again, Reinhardt was fast out of the box in the Capitol Renegade, Coors Banquet Beer, Henry’s Wrecker Service No.91.  He clocked in quickest in group three qualifying with a lap of 12.904 seconds around the 4-tenths mile, high banked facility.

The qualifying effort put Reinhardt 4th on the grid for his 8-lap heat race.  He grabbed 3rd at the drop of the green and held on to that spot to the finish to transfer and lock into the dash.

The dash redraw put Reinhardt on the outside of the front row.  He gave chase to polesitter Justin Peck but settled for a runner-up finish.

Starting on the outside of the front row alongside Peck, Reinhardt wasted no time.  He took command of the race on lap one of the 35-lap finale using the high line off of turn two.  He had Peck and Anthony Macri hot on his heels.

Peck pressured Reinhardt for the next twenty laps as the pair diced through lapped traffic at a torrid pace.  Meanwhile, Danny Dietrich was inching closer to the front.

A caution with sixteen laps remaining turned into a fuel stop.  When the race resumed, Dietrich wrestled 2nd away from Peck.  Meanwhile, Reinhardt caught lapped traffic again and sliced through it quickly, keeping lapped cars between himself and Dietrich.

With three laps remaining, Dietrich had clear track between himself and Reinhardt, but the Neptune City, NJ native dove low into turn one on the final lap, clearing a lapped car and putting a cushion between himself and Dietrich again.  The move sealed the $15,000 victory and ignited a huge celebration with family, friends, and of course a Coors Banquet beer in hand.

Man, I love racing here.  I love racing in New Jersey.  So many friends and family out here, it’s an awesome deal to win this.“, a very happy Reinhardt said in victory lane.  “We’ve been so close so many times to win a 410 race in NJ, it just means a lot to finally get it done.

It got really hairy a few times tonight.  This place is just so fast…badass fast.  We were catching the lapped cars so quickly, it was really hard to judge where they were going.

I can’t thank my friends and family enough and of course my crew, Chris, David, Lawnton, Kent, and Mike.  The people who support me, Wayne Quackenbush and Capitol Renegade, Coors Banquet Beer and Ace Distributing, and Henry’s Wrecker Service.  They are the ones behind the scenes who really make this happen for me.

Reinhardt’s Stellar Day Slips Away at BAPS Motor Speedway

Bridgeport’s SprinToberfest on Deck

Kyle Reinhardt returned to action Saturday at BAPS Motor Speedway in the Capitol Renegade, Coors Banquet Beer, Henry’s Wrecker Service No.91 following a two-week break provided by Mother Nature.

The York Haven, Pennsylvania oval has been good to Reinhardt in 2023.  He tallied an average finish of 5.2, including one win in his first five starts there this year.

OPPORTUNITY LOST

The 37 teams on hand were split into four groups for time trials and heat races.  Reinhardt was quick out of the box, posting the quickest lap in his group.  He followed that up by going 4th to 2nd in his heat race.

Reinhardt took the green for the 30-lap A-main from outside row two and immediately grabbed the 3rd position.  Over the opening ten circuits, he worked on runner-up Dylan Norris and finally took the position away on lap twelve.

For the next fifteen laps, Reinhardt patiently pursued leader Troy Wagaman Jr., looking and waiting for the right opportunity to strike to take the top spot.  He pulled alongside Wagaman’s No.27 on a few occasions before a caution appeared with three laps remaining.

On the ensuing restart, Devon Borden attempted to squeeze under Reinhardt entering turn one but wasn’t able to do so cleanly and made contact with the Neptune City, NJ native’s No.91, causing the pair to spin.

Reinhardt managed to keep his mount rolling and thus maintained the 2nd position on the restart.  Unfortunately, the damage sustained from the contact affected the handling and he slipped to a 5th-place finish during the final three laps.

I had another great car tonight.  I was trying to be patient in 2nd but got mowed over on that late restart.  The car took a lot of damage and I struggled from there.“, Reinhardt commented.

Thanks to my guys.  Chris Shuttlesworth had the 91 tuned up!  Big thank you to Capitol Renegade, Coors Banquet Beer, Ace Distributing, and Henry’s Wrecker for their continuing support.  Felt like we could have had one for them tonight.

Kyle Reinhardt 14th in Nittany Showdown to Close Out Three-Race Weekend

Lincoln’s Sterner Memorial Up Next

Mechanicsburg, PA – October 12, 2023

Kyle Reinhardt rolled into Port Royal Speedway for a three-race weekend fresh off a top-five finish with the High Limit Series at Bridgeport Motorsports Park in the Capitol Renegade, Coors Banquet Beer, Henry’s Wrecker Service No.91.

He was looking to build on that effort to put together a strong weekend at ‘The Speed Palace’, the track where he picked up his first career 410 sprint car win in 2019.

TUSKY 50

With 54 of the best sprint cars in the country on hand, Reinhardt’s Tuscarora 50 night didn’t start quite the way he had hoped.  His qualifying lap was only good enough for 16th quickest in Group A but his night took a turn in the right direction in the heat race.

Only the top three finishers would go directly to the Tuscarora 50 A-main, so Reinhardt had his work cut out for him starting on the outside of the third row.  Two laps in and running 5th, the Neptune City, NJ driver got a break when Logan Wagner’s 69k lost a motor while running 3rd.

Reinhardt restarted 4th and immediately began to pressure Dylan Cisney for the final transfer spot.  It only took two laps to wrestle the spot away from Cisney with a power move on the low side of the speedway.

The battle continued to the checkered flag but Reinhardt held on to the spot, completing the task at hand and earning the 17th starting spot in the 50-lap crown jewel event.

Early on in the A-main, Reinhardt held his ground and eventually gained a couple of spots before engine issues arose.  He slid backward but kept battling, hoping his team could remedy the issue at the halfway break.  Shortly after the break with the issue still plaguing him, Reinhardt retired from the race and was officially recorded as 23rd in the final rundown.

We battled engine issues in the feature tonight.  It’s a shame because we had a good car and good balance for that race.”, Reinhardt commented.  “We will put a fresh bullet in for tomorrow night.

NITTANY PRELIM

Friday night’s World of Outlaws preliminary for the Nittany Showdown proved to be a tough pill to swallow for Reinhardt and the Capitol Renegade team.

Reinhardt’s qualifying lap was 11th quick in group B but it was only 0.037 seconds short of 7th and an entirely different heat race scenario.

The qualifying result put Reinhardt 6th on the grid for his heat race with the top five finishers moving directly to the A-main, but he was unable to gain any ground.

Reinhardt started 4th in the B-main and was in position early to make the show, but lost track position on a restart after getting crossed up with another car.  He wasn’t able to make up the lost ground and ended up with a 6th-place finish.

NITTANY FINALE

Reinhardt got right to work at Saturday night’s Nittany Showdown finale.  He clicked off the 5th quickest lap in Group A, his best qualifying effort of the weekend.

The lap put Reinhardt in row two to take the green in his heat race.  The start didn’t go his way and he settled into the 5th and final transfer spot.  He was unable to advance but held the spot for the duration of the 8-lap race to transfer to the A-main.

The 30-lap finale was paused by a red flag on lap seven.  Following that, the remaining twenty-three laps remained green.  Reinhardt moved forward steadily during the event but the nonstop action didn’t work in his favor as he attempted to climb toward the front of the field.

Reinhardt finished 14th, ending the weekend on a positive note.

We improved a lot for Saturday and I think we had a top ten car if the yellows fell a little different, so that’s a good improvement for us at Port (Royal) because we have been struggling here lately., Reinhardt commented.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for the 2023 season.

Reinhardt Posts Top-5 in Home State with the High Limit Series

Three Big Nights On Tap at Port Royal Speedway

Mechanicsburg, PA – October 4, 2023

Kyle Reinhardt wrapped up the All Star Circuit of Champions series points races at Eldora Speedway on September 24th, but there is still plenty of racing remaining over the next six weeks.

September drew to a close and October opened up with four high-profile races in Pennsylvania and New Jersey featuring the High Limit and World of Outlaw series.

As the four races unfolded, Reinhardt and crew chief Chris Shuttlesworth dialed the Capitol Renegade, Coors Banquet Beer, Henry’s Wrecker Service No.91 in, finding speed and capping off the stretch with a National Open appearance with the World of Outlaws and a top-five finish with the High Limit Racing series.

TOUGH NIGHT IN WESTERN PA

Reinhardt strapped into the Grove Racing No.45 at Lernerville Speedway for a Tuesday night shot at the $50,000 top prize in the High Limit Series event on September 26th.

The qualifying lap Reinhardt laid down was good, but with a very stout field on hand, it left him 15th in his group.  It proved to be a tough hill to climb from there.

On a very fast and narrow racetrack, the Neptune City, NJ native was unable to move forward from his 8th starting spot in his heat race.  The B-main proved equally challenging, with Reinhardt only able to climb one spot for a 10th-place finish, which brought an end to his night.

STRUGGLES AGAINST THE CLOCK

Three days later, Friday’s National Open preliminary night at Williams Grove Speedway had a lot of similarities to Tuesday night’s event for Reinhardt.  It was once again a high-quality 58-car field and a qualifying effort that made the rest of the night harder.

Finishes of 8th in his heat race and 12th in the B-main brought an early end to Reinhardt’s Friday and turned the team’s focus back to finding the early speed they needed.

MAKING THE NATTY O

Reinhardt showed more speed and got Saturday night’s program off on the right foot by qualifying 10th quickest in Group B, putting him 5th on the grid for his heat race.

In the 8-lap qualifying race, Reinhardt slipped out of a transfer spot in the early going but fought his way back to finish 5th and put himself and his team into the National Open.

From the 20th starting spot in the prestigious 40-lap finale, Reinhardt started to work his way forward but ten laps into the event a broken spark plug brought an abrupt and early end to his main event.

I think we had a solid weekend making the National Open.  We didn’t time-trial well Friday and got in a hole we couldn’t get out of like a lot of other cars.  Saturday we made it happen, then broke a spark plug in the feature and that ended our race early.”, Reinhardt commented.

GETTING IT DONE BACK HOME

Reinhardt and his team traveled to his home state of New Jersey for another Tuesday night High Limit Racing event on October 3rd at Bridgeport Motorsports Park, a 4-tenths mile oval where he has had success in past outings, including an All Star Circuit of Champions podium earlier this season.

The early speed was present again for Reinhardt, who posted the 2nd quickest time overall in the thirty-three car field.

Reinhardt went on to post a heat race victory over Tyler Courtney, Brent Marks, and Devon Borden to earn a spot in the dash.  He drew the number five pill, started the 7-lap dash from inside the third row, and crossed the finish line 6th.

From the 6th starting spot in the 35-lap, $23,023 to win A-main, Reinhardt claimed the 5th spot on the opening circuit and held a firm grasp on it for the first twenty circuits.

On lap twenty he moved into 4th and began his pursuit of Cory Eliason for a podium position.  On the final circuit, low fuel landed Reinhardt in 5th by 0.071 seconds.

I’m really happy with our first High Limit race in the 91.  We had good speed all night and I felt like I was in position to race for a podium but got held up behind some lapped cars running in 4th, then ran out of fuel on the last lap and ended up 5th.”, Reinhardt commented.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for the 2023 season.

Kyle can be contacted via [email protected].

Reinhardt will have a busy week behind the wheel of the Capitol Renegade, Coors Banquet Beer, Henry’s Wrecker Service No.91.

Thursday night, October 5th, Reinhardt will compete in the All Star sanctioned Tuscarora 50 at Port Royal Speedway.  He will remain at Port Royal to take on the World of Outlaws in the two day Nittany Showdown Friday and Saturday, October 6th and 7th.

ENGINE WOES

Given it was the first trip to Eldora Speedway together for Reinhardt and the Grove Racing team, they hoped to use Friday night’s Befour the Crowns Showdown event to dial in the Grove Racing, Capitol Renegade, Bakers Mobile Home Transport, Coors Banquet Beer, Henry’s Wrecker Service No.45 for Saturday’s final points race of the 2023 All Star Circuit of Champions season.

Unfortunately, the team experienced engine issues during time trials and ended up 23rd in Group A, putting them in a deep hole for the night.

Reinhardt was able to gain three spots in his heat race, which put him into the B-main.  After moving forward somewhat in that race, the engine issues reared their head again and Reinhardt retired for the night.

FIGHT 'TIL THE END

Saturday night Reinhardt was just a tick off in qualifying, landing 5th in his group.  The Neptune City, NJ native slipped to 6th at the start of his heat race, battled back to 5th a few laps later, but ultimately ended up 6th.

In the B-main, Reinhardt showed his team was getting his No.45 dialed in.  He charged from his 6th starting spot into 3rd by lap two and he never let go of the transfer spot.

The trend continued in the 30-lap 4-Crown Nationals A-main.  Reinhardt started 23rd but at the drop of the green surged forward to 16th.  He cracked the top fifteen a few laps later.

Reinhardt momentarily held 14th just past the midpoint of the race, but at the checkers had recorded a 15th place finish after overcoming engine issues against a stout field.

We just got behind the 8-ball all weekend starting with engine problems on Friday.“, Reinhardt said.  “I’m proud of our team.  Everyone worked hard and we improved for Saturday.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for the 2023 season.

Kyle Reinhardt Wins Ford Classic Opener, Runner-up in Finale

Kyle Reinhardt has been running at or near the front most nights since taking the wheel of the Grove Racing No.45.  He had led laps, but thus far a win had eluded him.

When a team has consistent speed like the Reinhardt/Grove combination has, sooner or later they will break through.  They did just that at Fremont Speedway’s Jim and Joanne Ford Classic.

LAST LAP DRAMATICS

Reinhardt got his team’s weekend off to a solid start by qualifying 2nd quickest in his group, which put the Grove Racing, Capitol Renegade, Bakers Mobile Home Transport, Coors Banquet Beer, Henry’s Wrecker Service No.45 on the pole for the heat race.  He then led that race wire to wire to put himself in the Dash.

The redraw handed Reinhardt the 6th starting spot in the 6-lap dash.  The Neptune City, NJ native managed to make some progress by advancing to a 4th place finish, which meant a second row starting spot for the 30-lap A-main.

Reinhardt charged into the 2nd position on the opening lap and pursued leader Parker Price Miller throughout the first half of the race.  The pair navigated their way through traffic, with Reinhardt looking for the right opportunity to slip by and take command.  On lap fourteen he led at the line, but Price Miller battled back to lead the next lap by just a few feet.

Reinhardt took command again on lap sixteen and remained out front until late in the race when Price Miller slipped by with three laps remaining.

Reinhardt wasn’t done.  He built up momentum on the high side on the final lap and beat Price Miller to the line by 0.094 seconds to take the $6,000 victory.

I knew I had a great car from the start.  Bryan (Grove) and I talk about it every race, you have to be in the dash to put yourself in position to win these races.  We’ve been doing that.“, Reinhardt said.  Everybody is so good, so getting two spots in the dash tonight was huge.”

“Picking up two spots on the start of the feature allowed me to be patient behind Parker (Price Miller).  I was trying to wait for the right opportunity in traffic and it worked out perfectly for me.  I kind of gave it back to him there late.  I didn’t know how many laps were left until I saw the white, so I knew I had to get up on the wheel and get it done.

GOING FOR THE SWEEP

Saturday night Reinhardt was back at Fremont Speedway to go after the Jim and Joanne Classic weekend sweep, and it certainly looked like he was up to the task.

Once again, he timed 2nd quickest in his group and won his heat race from the pole to put the Grove Racing No.45 into the dash.  He started 5th in the dash, slipped backwards two spots, then battled back to finish 5th.

Starting inside row three for the 40-lap finale, Reinhardt moved into the 4th spot on lap four and settled in there for the next twenty laps.

With the top five running close together in heavy traffic, Reinhardt’s patience paid off.  He took advantage of an opening on the low side of turn four, quickly darting into the runner up spot.  Over the final fifteen circuits, he gave chase to leader Zeb Wise, nipping at his heels and pulling alongside on several occasions.

Despite a caution with two laps to go that provided a restart opportunity for Reinhardt, he was never able to wrestle the lead away from Wise and finished 2nd, missing the weekend sweep by just 0.958 seconds.

I can’t thank my guys enough.  Chris (Shuttlesworth) and all the 45 guys have been working really hard and it shows.”, Reinhardt said.

I got under Zeb (Wise) one time, but he did what he needed to do to keep the position and it broke my momentum.

Reinhardt did not want to see the final caution with two laps remaining.

He (Wise) doesn’t know it, but he’s lucky that caution came out because I had my momentum back and was rolling pretty good.“, Reinhardt said with a smile.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for the 2023 season.

Reinhardt Gets Good Start at Tuscarora 50 Before Rain Hits

All Stars Jim Ford Classic at Fremont On Tap

Port Royal, PA – September 12, 2023

Kyle Reinhardt rolled into Port Royal Speedway with the Grove Racing team carrying the momentum of three straight top five finishes and five top ten finishes in seven starts with the team.

With a lot of cash on the line over a three day period, Reinhardt was in the best position he had ever been to claim a nice share of the money Port Royal was putting up for the 56th Annual Tuscarora 50.

Before he could even get started, one of his three chances was washed away by rain when Thursday’s opener was cancelled.  That still left Friday’s $10,000 to win show and the $60,000 (increased from its original $56,000) to win Tuscarora 50.

NIGHT BEFORE THE 50

The All Star five heat group format was in play for the 48 teams on hand Friday night at Port Royal Speedway.  Reinhardt turned the 5th quickest lap in his group.  With only four transferring from each heat, he would need to move forward to get in the show.

After a strong start, an issue developed and Reinhardt faded to a 7th place finish in the Grove Racing, Capitol Renegade, Bakers Mobile Home Transport, Coors Banquet Beer, Henry’s Wrecker Service No.45.

Starting deep in the B-main (13th), Reinhardt needed to get to the top four to race his way into the A-main.  He managed a 10th place finish.

The team used an available provisional to start the A-main.  Reinhardt was able to move forward a few spots to a 21st place finish in the 30-lap Friday finale.

We weren’t very good in qualifying, then we had an issue in our heat.  Hard to dig out of a hole like that with so many good cars here.“, Reinhardt said.

TUSCARORA 50

Saturday evening the program began under sunny skies but with an unfavorable forecast, just like Friday night’s show.  The Tuscarora 50 format split the 49 cars into two groups for time trials.

Reinhardt turned the 10th quickest lap in Group B, a nice improvement over Friday’s lap.

The qualifying effort earned Reinhardt the pole for heat number four with the top three finishers transferring to the A-main, but unlike the night before, the skies did not cooperate.  Moments after time trials were completed, the rain came.  They didn’t let up for hours, forcing officials to postpone the event.

When the Tuscarora 50 is rescheduled, the program will start over.  A makeup date for the event has not been announced yet.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for the 2023 season.

Reinhardt Impressive With Three Top Fives for Grove Racing In Ohio

Team Carrying Momentum Into Lucrative Tuscarora 50 Weekend

Orrville, OH – September 6, 2023

by Addicted2Dirt PR & Media Mgmt

Kyle Reinhardt has been turning heads since he joined the Grove Racing team in mid-August.  They have been consistently fast and in the thick of the battle every night.

The next step for Reinhardt and the team is to consistently get the finishes they are capable of.  The two day Attica Ambush with the All Star Circuit of Champions was their next chance to check that box and they did.

SEND IT!

Reinhardt rolled into Attica Raceway Park along with 35 other teams to open the month of September.

The third-mile oval has challenged Reinhardt in his handful of starts there, but he opened this night by turning in the quickest lap in his group and transferring through his heat to earn a spot in the Dash.

While the redraw wasn’t friendly to Reinhardt, handing him the 8th starting spot for the 6-lap race, he overcame it with a charge to a 4th place finish.

Going from outside row two in the 35-lap A-main, Reinhardt made it clear from the drop of the green that he was going to be a factor.  By lap four he was in the runner up spot and challenging leader Kerry Madsen.

Reinhardt dogged Madsen for the next 25 circuits but couldn’t get by.  Following a late restart, he went for it.  He dove low into turn one, but Madsen slammed the door late.  The Neptune City, NJ native nearly spun but was able to gather his No.45 up and get back in the gas.

The lost momentum was enough for Tyler Courtney to slip by.  With only a few laps remaining, Reinhardt wasn’t able to reclaim the spot and settled for a 3rd place finish.

DEFINITELY ON THE RIGHT TRACK

Saturday’s $12,000 to win Attica Ambush finale drew a field of 38 teams to try to collect a big payday.

Reinhardt proved Friday was no fluke.  He kicked off Saturday night’s qualifying by ripping the quickest lap in his group in the Grove Racing, Capitol Renegade, Bakers Mobile Home Transport, Coors Banquet Beer, Henry’s Wrecker Service No.45.

Reinhardt once again transferred through his heat and put himself and his team in the Dash.  He wasn’t able to gain any track position through the dash, but in the 40-lap A-main, he moved forward.

From the 8th starting spot, Reinhardt worked his way to the 4th spot by lap eight.  He was unable to climb further but held a firm grasp on 4th all the way to the checkered flag.

We came out of the Ambush with a P3 and a P4.  My best showing at Attica for sure.“, Reinhardt said.  “Caught the yellows at the wrong time on Friday.  Laid it all out (on Friday night) and went for it (the win) but ended up paying the price.”

I’m excited to keep rolling with this Grove Racing No.45!”

PASS 'EM TWICE IF YOU HAVE TO

The Grove Racing team and Reinhardt traveled to Wayne County Speedway on Sunday night for the $10,000 to win Pete Jacobs Memorial.

The 37-car field was split into two flights for qualifying.  Reinhardt timed 10th quickest in his group, putting him 5th on the grid for his heat race.

The team’s adjustments following time trials were on point and Reinhardt quickly charged from 5th to a 2nd place finish.

Reinhardt started 10th in the 30-lap A-main and immediately went on the charge.  By lap two he was passing for 7th when contact in traffic got him out of shape on the backstretch and dropped him to 14th in the running order.

Knowing he had a very good race car; Reinhardt went right back to work.  He broke into the top ten again on lap twelve.  His march continued as he cracked the top five on lap twenty one.

When the dust finally settled, Reinhardt was 2nd.  It was a great run but a missed opportunity too, he felt.

Really happy with our speed but a bit disappointed with this finish to be honest.  Had a great start and was already up three spots and got turned on the backstretch.  Dropped to 14th and raced all the way back to 2nd, so a great run overall.“, Reinhardt said.

Hopefully we can carry this momentum into Port Royal for the Tuscarora 50 week.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for the 2023 season.

Kyle can be contacted via [email protected].

UP NEXT

Reinhardt and the Grove Racing No.45 team will head to Port Royal Speedway for a three day program that culminates with the 56th Annual Tuscarora 50 which will award the winner with $56,000.
