A Variety of Cars & Results Throughout the Last Month for Lane Snook

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Port Royal, PA – October 9, 2026

After an August that was sort of a rollercoaster of results, September came along and presented more challenges for Lane Snook. He had a busy schedule ahead of him during the month and would pilot a variety of cars at a variety of tracks.

To kick off the first weekend of the month, Lane would head to Williams Grove Speedway in Jaxton Garman’s Limited car.

“We started 8th in our heat with a bad pill draw and were able to win it.” Lane quickly carved through the heat race field and showed good speed heading into the feature.

“Then we started 6th in the feature, and were running third when we got spun on a restart. I felt we had a good car, but maybe the wrong tire choice, but we were able to pass a couple cars in the few remaining laps to finish 15th.”

Snook would then pull double duty the following night at the Butch Renninger Memorial in the family 23 car. Both divisions would time trial, and Lane would clock in 9th in the Super and 8th in the Limited, after the nose folded under. Lane would qualify for both features with a 5th place finish in the Super heat and a heat win in the Limited.

In the Super feature, Lane “started 18th and drove to 6th pretty quickly. I was trying to save my equipment since I knew I used it up coming to the front, and the car ended up fading away a little bit towards the end of the race. With a few restarts at the end, we ended up 8th and got the hard charger award.”

A strong performance and his second hard charger of the year. In the Limited, Snook would start 4th and finish there after falling back, but gaining those positions back.

A journey over the state line into Ohio, to Eldora for the Earl Baltes Classic in the BKR 15K, was next up on Sunday for Lane. This night would feature split fields and give Lane an opportunity to shake things down before the World 100.

“We qualified 4th in our group, then started 4th in our heat and ended up 6th. Then started 17th in the feature and ran 18th.”

Then came a huge challenge in the World 100 week.

There would be two qualifying nights where the drivers would accumulate points towards the Saturday night finale, and with over 100 cars in the pits, it was one of the most stacked fields of the year. Thursday’s qualifying night started with a 46th-place qualifying effort and would bury the 15K in the shootout race. Snook would start 16th and finish 14th, which wouldn’t be good enough to make the show. Friday would go a little better. Lane would time in 37th and make it into the feature after going 13th-7th in the shootout. He would start 19th and finish 21st in that race.

“On Saturday we started 13th in our heat again, and finished 9th, and starting deep in a B-Main, we decided to call it a weekend.”

In his final race of September, Snook would travel over to Path Valley Speedway to race the Fedder 22 car. This would again be a new ride for Lane and another test of his adaptability. Lane would go from 6th to 4th in the heat race.

“I started 15th in the feature and finished 10th. I felt we had a better car than that, but it was difficult to pass.”

Lane would then travel to a new track to open up October, in Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway, against the Lucas Oil Tour. The 23 team got behind early in the night, as a parts failure before hotlaps, gave the driver no chance to make laps before qualifying.

“We qualified 20th in our group, started 10th in our heat, and ran 7th. Then started 6th in our B main, and finished 8th, which ended our night.”

Overall, not the night the team was hoping for, but they at least got to race at another track and try to build their notes.

The past few months have certainly come with challenges and a lot of changes. Lane has raced in five different cars between late models and the modified. With that has certainly come a lot of challenges with getting adapted to everyone’s equipment.

“It’s definitely a challenge getting in different cars. You really have to adjust your driving to the car and try to get as comfortable as possible in the car. Then you gotta figure out what car needs what adjustments to make it better for me and faster on the racetrack.”

Through 50 races on the season, Snook has certainly got a taste of everything track-wise and car-wise, running at a variety of both. He is certainly eager to learn as much as possible and hopefully improve himself and his car.

As for plans for the rest of the month, Snook is unsure what the next race will be for the team. He does plan to try and get some more experience with Drake Troutman on the road.

“Definitely gonna go on the road with Drake some to try and learn some more, especially since I feel we’ve been on the struggle bus the second half of the year.”

Make sure to keep an eye on social media and the team website, LaneSnookRacing.com, for any schedule updates.

Ross Earns Hard Charger, Fights Through Tough Stretch Ahead of Nace Memorial

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Lincoln University, PA – October 5, 2026

by Addicted2Dirt PR & Media Mgmt

Tyler Ross has had a stretch of racing that tested the team’s patience. A hard charger award at Williams Grove Speedway was the high point, and a broken part on the biggest night of the National Open weekend was the low. Through it all, the team is staying focused on getting its motor and setup working together, and Tyler is not giving up.

From Start-and-Park Plan to Hard Charger

The best night of the stretch came September 25th at Williams Grove Speedway, and it almost didn’t happen. Tyler qualified 22nd, finished 8th in his heat, and had to run the B-main to advance to the A-main, where he started 23rd. He drove from there to a 15th-place finish and earned hard charger honors.

“We struggled all night until the feature, and things just went our way,” Tyler said.

“I was actually planning to start and park, but we passed a few cars early and decided to stay out.“

Trying Something Different

The two races before that were quiet nights. At Williams Grove on September 18th, Tyler started 15th in the A-main and finished 16th. At BAPS Motor Speedway on September 19th, he started 17th and moved up to 12th.

“Williams Grove has been a struggle all season for us,” Tyler said.

“At BAPS (Motor Speedway) we buried ourselves early, and the track was fast and around the top, so it was hard to pass a lot of cars after the first few laps.”

On September 30th at Lincoln Speedway, the team took a different approach. Looking to learn something and shake up a run of tough luck, they brought out the black car, an older car the team hadn’t raced since the first half of the 2025 season and one with a different motor than the primary car.

Tyler qualified 11th of 31 cars, started 3rd and finished 4th in his heat, and was running well early in the night. By feature time, though, the setup wasn’t where it needed to be.

“It was a different car, and the track was different, so we just misjudged it,” Tyler said. He pulled off the track and was scored 19th after starting 12th.

Tough Break at the National Open

The Williams Grove National Open weekend began with the team digging out of a hole on October 2nd. With 56 cars signed in, Tyler timed in 21st of 28 cars in Flight B, which meant he had to run the non-qualifiers race just to earn a spot in a heat race. He did his part, starting 2nd and winning it, but the rough qualifying run had already put him behind. He finished 10th in his heat, then started 17th in the B-main and finished 18th, short of a transfer to the A-main.

Saturday, October 3rd, ended before it began. Tyler didn’t make a lap in qualifying after a U-joint broke as the car came to the green for time trials.  The failure ended the night early for Ross Racing.  The team would not have been able to make repairs in time to qualify.

“When the car breaks as it did on Saturday, you can’t learn anything,” Tyler said.

“Every lost opportunity like that just stretches the timeline ever longer for us to get back to what we know our team is capable of.“

Working Toward the Right Combination

Tyler is candid that the team is still searching. Qualifying remains the weak spot, but he believes the team is heading in the right direction.

“We’re still struggling, but I think we’re on the right track with qualifying,” he said.

“We need to get the confidence back, knowing we can time better.“

The team is finding little things and taking the time to get them figured out, including working to dial in a motor and setup combination that works well together. The team is also considering bringing out a new car before the end of the year.

“Stretches like these are part of racing.  Everyone struggles at times,” Tyler said.

“We’re not going to give up.”

Looking Ahead

Tyler and the team will head to Selinsgrove Speedway this weekend for the Jim Nace Memorial National Open on October 9th and 10th.

It’s a track Tyler enjoys racing and a place where he finished 3rd on August 30th. Tyler said afterward that he now knew what the car needed to be really good there, and this weekend gives the team a chance to show it.

ABOUT  TYLER ROSS

Tyler started his racing career in 2002 in quarter midgets. At the age of 14, he jumped into the 600 micro scene. At the age of 18, he started his sprint car career in the 358 division and, shortly after, jumped to the 410 division. He owns (9) 358 sprint wins, (4) 360 URC feature wins, and (7) 410 sprint car feature wins, plus he earned the 2015 URC Rookie of the Year award.

Racing & Wrenching Throughout September for Meade Hahn

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Millerstown, PA – October 4, 2026

by Derick Kriner / Addicted2Dirt PR & Media Mgmt

As the race season entered the final month of competition, Meade Hahn and his late model team were hoping to finish out the season on a positive note, as the team had experienced several challenges.

The team would start off September at Selinsgrove.  The event would feature time trials to start, where Meade would slot in 9th overall. He would then roll off 5th in his heat.

“On the first lap of the heat, the guy on the outside and I got together on the front stretch slightly, but it was enough to smash the wheel cover in and cut the valve stem on the right front, giving us a flat. So we didn’t really know much about the track and if it was still fast or had slowed down any. I knew I would start behind the better cars, and I gambled on tires going softer than I normally would have.”

This gamble would initially pay off, but started to hinder the driver as the race went on.

“It worked for a few laps, and the right rear was just giving up more and more. We also were getting tighter in the middle, and I wasn’t sure what was really going on. I just was thinking it was all the tires giving up, but once I got home and washed up I found the j-bar had moved down and was coming loose.”

Some unfortunate trouble that would limit the 7-car and result in an 11th-place finish, after starting 13th.

“We had speed this weekend more than I have had in time trials, so I’m happy with that.”

The team would then travel over to the Port Royal Speedway for the final race of the limited season there. This would be an invite-only event for the top 24 in track points. Hahn would draw a front-row starting spot for his heat and jump to the early lead. A pileup behind him, however, negated that move. The heat would restart with only 3 cars. Meade would finish 3rd in the heat, but he mentioned that the car felt good.

“We started 6th for the feature and took off well, and again I was happy with how the car was handling. We got into 5th, and I was able to run with 4th and was moving around a little trying to make a pass, when I felt the motor start to lay down on me and I had to pull off the track because of it. We came home 9th, but we were so much better than that. We definitely had a top 5 car and were just disappointed we didn’t get the result we had the speed for.”

This would have been the best finish of the season for Hahn, but it wasn’t meant to be.

Once the team got the car back to the shop to inspect the engine, Meade found the problem.

“We had an intake valve problem on one cylinder. So we took the motor out and sent it to the machine shop.”

The team would then look towards their final scheduled race of the year at Selinsgrove, but Mother Nature had other plans.

“We weren’t sure if we would have it back in time to race Saturday night at Selinsgrove for the final points race. So the Garmans offered us one of their motors. We really wanted to finish the year out since we have had speed and decided we would take them up on their offer. We worked all week picking up the motor and getting it in the car, but unfortunately Mother Nature had other plans, and Selinsgrove rained out.”

Even though the race season might have been over for Hahn in a driving sense, he still had some other plans come up that allowed the car to be on track.

“After it rained out, Derrick and I talked, and he said, ‘Why don’t you run Path Valley on Saturday night.’ I told him I didn’t have gears and a way to get my car there, so why don’t we let Jaxton drive it and you tow my trailer and use your gears. Jaxton came over, and we got him fitted in the seat as best we could and loaded up for Path Valley.”

Hahn had never had his car to the tight ¼ mile track before.  Meade and the Garmans would make little adjustments all night to help Jaxton out.

“After the warm-ups, we needed to make a few more tweaks to get him a little more comfortable. He couldn’t reach the gas pedal correctly and was having trouble getting it wide open. So we adjusted the throttle arm and sent him out for the heat race, which he ended up winning.”

Redrawing in the 7th spot for the feature, they would have to keep the nose clean if they wanted to move forward and also finish.

“He fell back a little trying to be cautious, knowing a couple of cars were looking like they were going to wreck, which ultimately they did, and he missed all the cars. He would restart 8th and ultimately come home in that position. I was happy with how the night went. We brought home a solid finish and had great speed early in the night. With never having Jaxton in the car, or the car to that track, we just didn’t know what to change, and ultimately we didn’t do enough for him. He drove a good race, moved around, and the car just wouldn’t come off the corner like we needed it to. Now we know for next time what not to do and more of what we need to do.”

This was a different perspective of a race night from what Hahn was used to, in almost a car owner type role.

“It was a little weird watching the car, but it did give me some more insight into what the car needs and wants even if I’m not the one driving it.”

Those lessons will hopefully benefit Meade as he makes preparations for the next season. Meade added that he’d “like to thank Derrick for letting us use his motor and Jaxton for driving it to a solid finish and overall a good night.”

Meade also noted that Phil Miller got the 7’s power plant back together and ready to go.

“He was able to get our motor fixed up with some new parts, and we will see what we can do with our own motor again next year. Luckily for us, it wasn’t a bad fix and didn’t take too many parts.”

As the 7-car season came to a close, it was certainly a year with many trials and challenges. Bright spots still shone through at times, with good runs and solid speed on a lot of their appearances in 2026. Hahn would end the season with 5 top-ten finishes in 14 shows behind the wheel. The biggest thing Meade will hope for in 2027 is a shift in luck.

“This year has been really frustrating with dumb luck, or whatever you want to say. It just seems like I can’t put a whole night together. Something seems to happen at some point and gets us behind.”

The team looks to put in some work over the offseason to get prepared for 2027 and hopefully minimize the misfortune. Meade would again like to thank everyone involved in the operation for all their help and support during this race season and looks forward to better things in 2027.

Lattomus Adapts Through Crew Transition and Tough Breaks, Keeps Foot on the Gas

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Lewes, DE – October 2, 2026

by Addicted2Dirt PR & Media Mgmt

The last six weeks have tested the depth of Preston Lattomus’s program as much as his driving. Despite a crew chief departure, a scheduling crunch, and a pair of hard-luck DNFs alongside genuine speed and two notable recovery drives, Lattomus found creative ways to keep himself in a seat every weekend.

A Changing Crew

At the end of August, crew chief Kyle Reinhardt stepped away from the team for the remainder of the season for the birth of his and his wife’s first child. Scott McClaren, who has helped fill in as lead wrench, is unable to cover Friday races due to his son’s football schedule, limiting the team’s availability on certain nights through the rest of the year.

“I’m very thankful for those guys. They put in countless hours to get us to the track every night,” Lattomus said.

“Kyle has helped me get better every night, with just little insights and things he saw to help me improve. I’m incredibly happy for Kyle to move on to the next chapter of his life and continue to make everyone around him proud to know him.“

Three Races, One Borrowed Ride

With the team unable to run its own No. 91 on Fridays for the rest of the season, the search for a way to keep Lattomus racing led to an opportunity with car owner John Westbrook, whose No. 1w became available after regular driver Buddy Schweibinz moved over to the 69k for a series of events.

The arrangement with Westbrook was planned as a three-race stint — Williams Grove on September 18th, BAPS Motor Speedway on September 19th, and Williams Grove again on September 25th — with no further Westbrook dates currently planned.

“I actually really enjoyed the way the 1w felt. The car was very balanced and pleasant to drive,” Lattomus said.

“It was definitely a learning experience as far as getting to try something new and experience something different.“

Six Weeks on Track

The stretch opened at Lincoln Speedway on September 5th, where Lattomus qualified 15th and rallied from 18th to 16th in a tough A-Main. The following night, back at Lincoln, the No. 91 was arguably the best car on the track entering the feature after Lattomus started 2nd.

“The car was on point most of the night and felt like the best car on the track come feature time,” he said — but about 15 laps in, a part failure in the steering sent him into the wall, ending the night early.

Lattomus made his first start in Westbrook’s No. 1w on September 18th at Williams Grove, qualifying 8th in his group and winning his heat race outright. His night ended on the opening lap of the A-Main when another car changed lanes in front of him entering the back stretch, collecting him in the process.

“It sucked that it happened, and it was in John Westbrook’s car,” Lattomus said.

“I feel we had a great shot at moving forward in the feature and didn’t get an opportunity to even try.“

The next night at BAPS Motor Speedway, a solid car led to a 5th-place heat finish, but an early-race incident in the A-Main sent Lattomus to the back of the field. He fought forward to a 14th-place finish.

“There were still things I felt I needed to learn in the 1w,” he said.

“Restarted in the back and passed a good amount of cars. Learned a lot for my first full feature in the car.”

Back at Williams Grove on September 25th, a steering issue in qualifying and limited passing room in the heat sent Lattomus to the B-Main, which he won from the pole to transfer into the feature. Starting 19th in the A-Main, he passed five cars in the first two laps before the track rubbered up, locking the field into a single fast line and limiting further passing for the rest of the race. He finished 13th.

“I knew we had a good car from running fast laps in the heat, so the B-Main was just to try something while being out front and learn,” he said.

The stretch closed back at Lincoln Speedway on September 30th, where Lattomus qualified 4th and started on the pole of his heat race, but dropped from 1st to 4th on the opening lap before settling for a 5th-place finish. He started 14th in the A-Main and finished 17th.

“The last six weeks have been just like the rest of the season — up and down,” Lattomus said.

“We’ve had some really good moments with speed and car handling, but we just couldn’t put a night together.“

Looking Ahead

Lattomus will close out the season back in the team’s own No. 91, with stops planned for a Saturday show at Selinsgrove Speedway, the season finale at Lincoln Speedway, the final two shows of the year at BAPS Motor Speedway, and the Dirty Jersey Saturday show at Bridgeport Speedway.
