Meade Hahn Racing Looking Forward to 2026 Season and Continuing Family Legacy

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Millerstown, PA – April 16, 2026

A new name to some and a new member of the A2D family, but Meade Hahn is anything but new to racing.

With 25 years’ worth of racing under his belt, the Millerstown resident has been around the sport in some capacity for nearly all his life. Growing up, going to the local dirt tracks in Pennsylvania, Meade got to follow and learn from his father, Bill, who was a crew chief on several teams and also a car owner. As most could expect, the racing gene was going to flow into Meade and would eventually lead to him driving himself.

Meade’s racing career started in 2000, as the then 21-year-old took hold of the wheel and tested his luck in the Pro Stock division that competed at Selinsgrove Speedway. This would be where Hahn would fine-tune his craft and spend close to 10 years competing. In that timeframe, Meade was able to grab multiple wins within the Pro Stock division and was a consistent presence in the division.

From 2009 to present, the team moved on to late models in both the super and limited ranks and now regularly competes in the Limited Late Model division at tracks like Selinsgrove and Port Royal. 2026 will see the 46-year-old driver compete in around 20 shows in the limited class between Selinsgrove and Port Royal, with a chance for a few other select shows elsewhere. While Meade is still searching for a win in the division, he has consistently been a presence near the top of the track point standings at Selinsgrove Speedway. He has finished in the top 5 in points the last two seasons at the Snyder Country ½ mile.

The Hahn family operation is just that, a family deal. Meade travels to the races to compete with the help of his family and close friends. Team values consist of constantly learning, being competitive, but also showing good sportsmanship, and above all, to have fun, enjoying the sport that his family loves. The team also takes pride in supporting local tracks and being a consistent presence in the pit area. Goals of the team in 2026 continue to be finishing up near the top of points and visiting victory lane.

Now that we’ve introduced Meade the racer, let’s meet Meade off the track. When he isn’t turning the wheel or wrenching on the car in the shop, Hahn is working as an HVAC installer, something he’s done for the majority of his life.  In his free time, Meade and his wife, Rachel, volunteer for Susquehanna Service Dogs, raising and training future service dogs for the organization.  Meade also takes time to spend with his grandson and family. He also makes time to watch the Eagles on Sundays and anything racing in a circle.

2026 at the moment looks to kick off this weekend with a show at Port Royal Speedway on April 18th. This race will be streamed on FloRacing, so make sure to tune in. After that, an appearance at the Selinsgrove Speedway will follow on April 24th, as the limited division makes their first start of the season there.

The family would like to thank each of their partners and all the friends that help out. Jack Azz Distilling, Empowered By You Counseling, and MGM Mechanical Inc. all help to make the 7 car go around the track, and the team couldn’t do it without them. As always, the team is happy to welcome any new sponsors or partners who want to come along and help make this family dream continue, season after season.

Stay up to date with the team’s schedule on Facebook and make sure to get out and support your local track.

Rollercoaster Results for Snook to End March & Begin April

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Port Royal, PA – April 9, 2026

by Derick Kriner / Addicted2Dirt PR & Media Mgmt

Image Credit:  Jason Walls / WRT Speedwerx

With the racing season finally getting underway in Pennsylvania, Lane Snook would take aim at his own 23 car and the local racing scene. With only a few shows being completed over the past month, any opportunity to get on the track was valuable. While April still has a lot to come, let’s look back at the first three races of the 23 team’s season.

March ended up only seeing the 23-car race one time. That being the season opener at Port Royal Speedway, in the super late model ranks. Having a strong run in the heat race and picking up his first super heat win, opening day was going well. While running in the top five during the feature, the driver and team hit a snag.

“We had a stone get in between the oil pump belt and the pulley, where it chewed the teeth on the oil pump belt and made it come off.” This ended a promising run that Lane felt was going to result in a top-five run. Nevertheless, the team would end up posting a DNF, took some precautions, and had the super motor looked over before running it again.

The team’s next race would take place as the calendar flipped to April with a two-race weekend. Beginning at Bedford Speedway in the limited car, the team would pick up in that division, where they left off in 2025. Starting on the pole of the heat and winning put him in the redraw, where he would end up rolling off 3rd in the feature.

“I didn’t get our tires hot enough before the race, as they didn’t fire off, and I made a mistake in turn 1 of the first lap, which made us fall back to 7th.” After a restart, Snook was able to regroup and start his march to the front. Ending up with the lead near the halfway point, Lane held on to grab his first win of the season. A strong rebound from a disappointing showing a few weeks before.

After staying up into the early hours of the morning after Bedford, the team would wake up for a home game at Port Royal Speedway. Off the bat, the team battled some adversity. Folding the nose in during hot laps, the crew thrashed and was able to make repairs and get Lane out for the heat race, where he drove from 4th to the win. Redrawing the 2 pill, the team was poised for another shot at a win. Mother Nature put a pause on that, however, with rain falling during the 410 sprint car feature and canceling the race.

“We start 2nd in the makeup feature, if we’re able to make it.” All in all, another strong night that the team could be proud of.

Something else the young driver from Port Royal can be proud of is his growth with the fans and people in the industry. Lane was able to take part in a fan meet and greet on Saturday at The Speed Palace.

“The meet and greet was cool for sure, getting to see a lot of faces I haven’t seen all winter,” stated Lane. “I feel like we are gaining recognition,” stated Lane, and went on to mention, “with the season we had last year, that definitely helped to put my name out there.”

Snook was honored during opening ceremonies for part of that dominant season, as Port Royal presented him with his 2025 track champion accolades.
“I’m very grateful for all the people I’ve met over the past few years and everyone who has helped me throughout my career.” Lane also mentioned some of the new relationships he’s made over the offseason and how he hopes to continue those and help himself grow.

As the team continues to try to duplicate the efforts of 2025 in some capacity, their schedule ramps up, giving them a lot more opportunities to test their equipment. April will hopefully feature a lot more super late model racing. April 10th and 11th will feature trips to Selinsgrove and Port Royal, respectively, both in super late model competition.

The same setup will repeat on April 17th and 18th, with Selinsgrove and Port. Then the team takes aim at the Lucas Oil Late Models, as they travel to the mid-Atlantic region. The team will plan to compete at BAPS Motor Speedway on April 25th, for the series first visit to the speedway for a $25k to win show.

Make sure to stay tuned to the team website (LaneSnookRacing.com) and socials for any schedule changes and results. Even though the first few shows have been up and down in results, Snook and team look to smooth things out and get back into their groove throughout the rest of April.

Zach Newlin Set for Double Duty in Newlin Racing 410 and Mansberger 358 in 2026

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Millerstown, PA – April 9, 2026

by Addicted2Dirt PR & Media Mgmt

Zach Newlin is poised for a busy 2026 racing season, a welcome change compared to the limited seat time last season.

The Millerstown, PA driver will take on the continued challenge of building the family-owned 410 winged sprint car program, plus he will return to the 358 sprint car division for numerous races.

RETURN OF THE 21M

We have more to tell you about the plans for the Newlin Racing 11z this season, but first, we want to share some good news.

The Mansberger Motorsports No.21m 358 sprint car team will return for 2026 with Newlin at the wheel.

Newlin wheeled the car for four seasons for the late Dan Mansberger from 2021-2024, including returning the team to victory lane at Williams Grove Speedway in 2023.

After a little over a year on the sidelines, Dan’s son, Nathan Mansberger, is continuing the family tradition.

Realistically, the 21m is my chance of winning races this year, so I’m definitely ready to get back to being competitive in that car,” Newlin commented.

The team will compete at Williams Grove Speedway and BAPS Motor Speedway this season.

410 UPDATE

Not long after Newlin’s 2025 season ended prematurely with a bent frame, he acquired another RPM Chassis with help from supporter Butler Hill Maple Farm and began building a new car.  That project was completed last week after the refreshed motor was dropped between the frame rails, and the fresh wrap was applied.

While Newlin is known for sporting a specific shade of green on many of his cars over the years, he has also strayed from that with white and black cars.  This year’s car leverages that ‘Zach Daddy Green’ in a whole new way.

Newlin’s son, Caleb, designed this year’s car.  He came up with a beautiful, eye-catching scheme that transitions from white to orange to green from front to back.

“I thought Caleb’s design was super cool.  Who else gets to race a car their kid designed?” an excited Newlin shared.

“We are building this 410 program, but we know it’s going to take time.  We are going to go out and try our hardest with the hand we are dealt.”

Newlin plans to compete in 20-25 races at Port Royal, BAPS, Selinsgrove, and Path Valley Speedways in Central PA.

IT TAKES A VILLAGE

Winged 410 sprint car racing is an expensive venture and requires a lot of support.  Newlin Racing is fortunate to have dedicated partners who have enabled it to continue building its program.

He’s Back: Tony Jackson Returns to Scott Hess Racing Sportsman for Select Shows in 2026

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Newville, PA – April 2, 2026

by Justin Snyder / Addicted2Dirt PR & Media Mgmt

Coming just a day after April Fools’ Day, this is no joke — Tony Jackson is returning to the driver’s seat.

The veteran racer will pilot the Scott Hess Racing Sportsman for a select winged and wingless schedule in 2026, after previously announcing that 2025 would be his final season behind the wheel.

Jackson’s return will begin with a pair of wingless events on April 24 at Williams Grove Speedway and April 25 at Port Royal Speedway. He also plans to compete in wingless competition alongside the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars at Lincoln Speedway on May 5th.

“This was always kind of the plan, but I wanted Scott to be able to find someone to race full-time, as I just really didn’t want to do it all that much,” said Jackson. “I wanted to give Chase and the team the time to get going and get racing first, respectively, but we wanted to get the word out and start getting ready to go compete for wins.”

Jackson’s 2026 schedule will be selective, allowing him to balance time away from full-time competition while still competing for victories in the familiar Scott Hess Racing entry. Following a successful 2025 campaign, Jackson credited the support of his sponsors, friends, and family as the driving force behind his decision to come back for a limited run.

“We have a rough schedule kind of laid out, but this gives me the ability to be flexible and make sure my family and business get my attention first,” he said. “If I have something on the schedule and my boy has a ballgame that pops up, that’s going to get my attention and that’s the plan.”

Jackson also emphasized that his return will not take away from Chase Gutshall’s efforts behind the wheel of Scott Hess Racing’s winged Sportsman.

“Chase is already kind of stepping into a tough situation with a car that’s won a lot of races and been successful,” he said. “I want to make sure he can feel confident and appreciated, and I’m sure those guys are going to win a lot of shows together. There may be a few nights where we run two cars here and there, and ultimately the goal for us is to just have some fun, win some races, and hopefully we can both do that for Scott and all our sponsors.”

Additional appearances will be announced at a later date.

Chase Gutshall Delivers Strong Debut Weekend with Scott Hess Racing at BAPS

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

York Haven, PA – March 25, 2026

by Justin Snyder / Addicted2Dirt PR & Media Mgmt

Chase Gutshall turned heads in his debut weekend behind the wheel of the Scott Hess Racing Super Sportsman, charging from eighth on the starting grid to a solid sixth-place finish in the team’s first winged competition event of the season at BAPS Motor Speedway.

Gutshall’s night began on a high note, as he powered to a heat race victory from the second starting position, showcasing early speed and confidence with his new team.

“We were quick time overall in hot laps, and right off the trailer we were the best car on the track,” said Gutshall. “We quickly got to the lead in the heat race, and we ran well. It was nice to show speed and be competitive right out of the gate.”

The heat race win locked Gutshall into the eighth starting spot for the evening’s A-main event. Wasting no time, he surged forward and cracked the top six early in the race before adversity struck.
“We got to sixth early in the A-main and got caught up in a deal,” Gutshall explained. “We unfortunately had to go to the back, and the car was pretty bent up with a broken W-link.”

Despite the setback, Gutshall’s resilience and the team’s preparation were evident as he methodically carved his way back through the field to salvage a top-six finish.

“Even with a car that sustained damage, we worked our way back to sixth, and to do that with a banged-up car shows how good this team truly is. I’m thankful for the opportunity.”

Team owner Scott Hess praised the performance, noting both the speed and determination displayed in their first outing together and expressing optimism for the season ahead.

Gutshall echoed those sentiments.

“I got in the car, and it drove like a Cadillac,” he said. “I can’t be any happier about this situation. They have a solid group of guys working on the car, great equipment, and I think we’re going to be a force to reckon with all year long.”

The strong debut sets the tone for what could be a promising partnership as Gutshall and Scott Hess Racing continue to build momentum early in the season.

The team’s next scheduled appearance will again be in winged Sportsman competition on April 4 at BAPS Motor Speedway.

Cappetta Opens 2026 Season with Strong Runner-Up Finish at Lincoln Speedway

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Abbottstown, PA – March 20, 2026

by Emily Winslow / Addicted2Dirt PR & Media Mgmt

Image Credit:  Jeremy Zarfos / WRT Speedwerx

Ashley Cappetta kicked off her 2026 racing season in impressive fashion on Saturday, March 14, at Lincoln Speedway, with a second-place finish in the 358 Sprint Car division.

Despite an uncharacteristically low early-season car count, Cappetta and her team made the most of the opportunity, showing speed and consistency from the start of the night.

“We were a little surprised by the car count,” Cappetta said. “But it’s early in the season, it was cold, and not everyone is ready yet. We were just focused on making the most of what we had.”

While a hot lap experiment didn’t go as planned, she quickly rebounded, making the right adjustments for the remainder of the night. After a decent pill draw, Cappetta earned a strong feature starting position through her heat race performance.

“I knew after the heat race what we needed to change,” she said. “The car felt good, and I knew the track would get more challenging as the night went on.”

In the feature, Cappetta showcased both speed and composure, avoiding multiple incidents — including an early pileup and a close call with a spinning car — to remain in contention throughout the race.

“It was definitely intense,” Cappetta said. “There were a couple of really close moments that could have ended our night, but we were able to get through them.”

Battling near the front for the duration of the feature, Cappetta overcame a significant challenge as her brakes faded in and out, forcing her to adapt her driving style, especially on restarts.

“I didn’t have brakes consistently, which made it tough,” she explained. “Restarts were tricky, but in a way they helped because I could work the brakes and keep them somewhat there. On that kind of track, you really need them.”

Despite the setback, Cappetta held strong to secure a second-place finish — a result that carries extra meaning for both her and her team.

“It feels really good to start the season like this,” she said. “My dad puts a lot of work into this car, especially over the winter while I’m focused on my business. I was honestly just as happy for him as I was for myself.”

The strong opening night also carried emotional significance, as Cappetta dedicated the performance to her late grandmother.

“With everything going on, it meant a lot to have a run like that for her,” she added.

Off the track, Cappetta also expressed appreciation for the support shown at her annual preseason fundraiser, which saw a strong turnout despite a busy holiday weekend.

“We really appreciate everyone who came out,” she said. “It’s always great to kick off the season with the people who support us.”

Looking ahead, Cappetta plans to focus her 2026 schedule primarily on Lincoln Speedway and BAPS Motor Speedway, with additional appearances at Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway.

ABOUT  ASHLEY CAPPETTA

Ashley Cappetta is a second-generation racer following her uncle’s footsteps. She started her racing career in 2012. It was her first year piloting her race car but certainly not her first exposure to the sport. She was introduced to racing by her father, who was Steve Smith’s crew chief. Her uncle, Rob Cappetta was also involved in the sport driving his own #89 sprint car and went on to be a gasman for Robert Yates Racing. Ashley is making her own way by being the first female in her family to set center stage as a driver. Ashley has had a couple of years of sprint car experience with various teams, starting out as a crew member doing such simple tasks as scrapping mud to advancing her skills into doing maintenance for her own race car. Ashley showing her success with not only her abilities working on her race car but also by winning a Hard Charger Award in only her first season racing. Ashley feels she has the best of both worlds by not only knowing how to race but by having the knowledge of the mechanics and being able to provide detailed feedback to her team. Her goal is to continue to grow as a racer and work her way up through the sprint car division.

Kody Hartlaub Sets Sights on 2026 Success with New Partners

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

York Haven, PA – March 19, 2026

by Addicted2Dirt PR & Media Mgmt

Kody Hartlaub kicked off his third season at the wheel of a winged 410 sprint car on Sunday at BAPS Motor Speedway.  In 2024, the East Berlin, PA driver earned Rookie of the Year honors at both Williams Grove and Lincoln Speedways.  In 2025, he captured his first 410 victory at Williams Grove.

What does 2026 hold for the 30-year-old rising star of the sport?  Time will tell, but odds are it will be worth watching.

NO RUST HERE

Hartlaub showed no signs of rust during Sunday’s opener at BAPS Motor Speedway, timing 4th in his group to get his night off to a strong start.  Unfortunately, a mechanical issue in the heat race led to a DNF.

After making repairs, he was able to rebound in the B-Main, driving from 9th to 3rd to transfer into the 30-lap A-main.  He continued to pass cars in the main event, driving from 20th to 13th to close out the night.

“We had a good car right out of the gate, so we feel good about all the work we put in over the winter.  It felt good to bounce back by passing 13 cars in the B and the A to salvage our night.” Hartlaub commented.

“The car was good enough to be a top-five or top-ten car if we had not had the issue in the heat race, so we’ll take that, regroup this week, and get ready for Port Royal Speedway and Williams Grove Speedway next weekend.  Huge thanks to the partners who make this possible.”

PLAN OF ATTACK

When asked about his goals for his third 410 season, Hartlaub’s sense of humor was front and center.

“Don’t suck,” he said with a laugh.

Hartlaub added that he and the team expect to run well at places they are familiar with and have logged many laps.

“We measure success based on being prepared and putting our best effort forward.  If we use the notes and experience we have at the familiar tracks and we do our best each night, then we feel good.  The results, the wins, will come if we do those things.” Harlaub explained.

Turning the conversation to the new places the team plans to visit in 2026, Hartlaub said the goal is simply to learn and make gains each time.

“Racing new tracks will make us better.  It will challenge us to apply our experience to adapt and learn.  We are really looking forward to that aspect of the season because we know it will help us continue to improve as a team to establish ourselves as a contender every time we unload.” Hartlaub shared.

Hartlaub will see plenty of familiar tracks and some new ones this season.  The team plans to race in the new PA Posse 410 Sprint Series, PA Speedweek, and the regional World of Outlaws shows, bringing their schedule to nearly 60 races.

Offseason Crewing and New Things Brewing for Lane Snook in 2026

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Port Royal, PA – January 21, 2026

by Derick Kriner / Addicted2Dirt PR & Media Mgmt

With the career season of 2025 behind him, the offseason was a great time for the team to reflect and get prepared for 2026. The “offseason” for Lane, however, has consisted of a lot of travel and crew work. “I left to go on the road Saturday night, after I raced at Eldora.”

Since that October date, Lane has been traveling around with the G.R. Smith Motorsports 22 team and Drake Troutman. Helping out on the crew and gaining more experience, and even getting to participate in the pitstop challenge at Gateway Dirt Nationals, the winter months have been busy.

Traveling coast to coast and visiting tracks like Charlotte, Whynot, the Dome, and Central Arizona has made for a quick offseason. The road tripping will continue as the 22 team heads to the southeast to race in Georgia and Florida.

“I’ve probably been home 3, maybe 4 weeks since then (October),” stated Snook. “I’ll be down in Georgia and Florida until about the middle of March, when I fly back home to start racing.” While March will start the race season in Pennsylvania for Lane, his actual race season will kick off in a few weeks time at the DIRTCar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park.

In a deal that has been in the works for a little bit, Lane will have the opportunity to pilot the Jerry Foster-owned number 5, UMP modified. The division that races the most and is coined the “Iron Men of DIRTCar Nationals”, Snook will get to try his hand at racing one of the biggest and most talented fields in the modified division.

“I think Jerry wanted to race more often than Drake was able to, so Drake threw the idea around of putting me in it, as I wanted to go to Florida and race. Since Drake is planning on racing the late model while the mods are at Volusia, the deal just kind of came together.” Lane has helped out with not only the late model side of Drake’s racing venture, but has also helped a few times with the 5 car, when Drake has run modifieds. Snook had gotten the chance to get to know Jerry Foster through this, and it will hopefully benefit both parties.

The young Port Royal, PA racer will plan to race “Tuesday or Wednesday, through Saturday (Feb 3rd-7th), then we’ll see how that goes and see if Jerry wants to do anything after that.” This will be a great chance for the young driver to prove what he has, but it won’t come without challenges. This is a new track for Lane and a new car to learn.

With a big season planned for 2026 in the late model ranks, Lane will then have to refocus after this long trip away. Time away for Snook has helped in the past, and all of the things he has learned have definitely started to pay off for him. So aside from the new opportunity at the start of the year down south, what does preparation for 2026 in the northeast look like?

“My crew has been hard at work getting the cars done at home, so I’m able to race this year.”

Being that in past seasons, Lane was at home more to assist with prep, the burden lands on the crew, but after such success in 2025, there is no doubt that the family and crew know how to get the cars prepared and have them ready to compete come March. The super late model season is still planned to kick off for Lane at Port Royal in late March. While the team schedule is still being figured out, Lane will plan to focus on more super late model racing in 2026 and continue to grow and learn from his time on the road.

With the success of last season and Snook tallying 20 wins, new eyes and attention have found the team. “We have a lot of great new sponsors that I’m looking forward to getting their product or business out to the racing world.”

As Lane continues to build his racing career, all of the preparation from not only a race car standpoint, but also a sponsor and fan standpoint, grows and brings about exciting opportunities to build his brand. “We are working on T-shirts and hats,” mentioned Snook.

“It wouldn’t be possible without my parents for supporting me to do what I love, all of the crew help that I have at home, and all the great sponsors that continue to help me out every year, and all of the new sponsors coming on board!”

Fans can tune in to watch the DIRTCar Nationals via DIRTVision to see the start of Lane’s season. Make sure to stay tuned to upcoming releases to get schedule updates and also check out the team’s website, LaneSnookRacing.com, for updates and stats.

ABOUT  LANE SNOOK

Lane Snook is a 3rd generation race car driver who is entering his 11th year behind the wheel at the age of 17. After racing go-karts for several years, he made the move into the limited late model division in 2023. In 2024, he saw great success in the division, collecting 5 wins at 2 different tracks. In 2025, he recorded 20 wins in limited late model competition. In 2026, he will make the move to the super late model division while still competing part-time in his limited late model.

Scott Hess Racing Announces Chase Gutshall as Driver of No. 88 Winged Super Sportsman for 2026 Season at BAPS Motor Speedway

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Red Lion, PA – December 22, 2025

by Justin Snyder / Addicted2Dirt PR & Media Mgmt

Scott Hess Racing is proud to announce that Chase Gutshall has been named the driver of the No. 88 Winged Super Sportsman for the full slate of events at BAPS Motor Speedway during the 2026 racing season.

The announcement follows the retirement of longtime driver Tony Jackson, who concluded his tenure with the team in impressive fashion. Jackson capped off a standout season that included 15 victories, along with numerous additional wins and consistent top performances, firmly establishing the No. 88 team as one of the premier operations in the division.

Gutshall, a former Sportsman division winner, brings proven talent and versatility to the Scott Hess Racing program. After recently advancing to the highly competitive Winged 358 Sprint Car division, Gutshall is eager to stay sharp and continue gaining valuable seat time behind the wheel in the Super Sportsman ranks.

“We plan to run every show at BAPS as long as it fits into our family team’s 358 program, and I’m excited to get going in 2026,” said Gutshall. “Scott, Lori, and their entire team have built something that’s as competitive as any in the Sportsman division, and being part of that is an opportunity I’m really excited about.”

“It’ll be a bit of an adjustment getting back into a Sportsman, but the extra seat time and having fun is only going to help me mentally and physically as a driver,” Gutshall continued. “In the 358 division, track time can be limited, and this gives me more laps at key facilities. Ultimately, it’s about having fun and getting to victory lane, and I’m confident we can do that together.”

While Gutshall is slated to compete full-time at BAPS Motor Speedway in 2026, the door remains open for Jackson to make select appearances should he choose to do so throughout the season.

Scott Hess Racing is optimistic about the upcoming year and confident that the combination of Gutshall, the No. 88 machine, and the team’s proven program will continue to deliver strong performances and success.

“I’ve known Chase’s dad since he was a kid, and Tony actually played a role in bringing Chase into the fold,” said team owner Scott Hess. “He really liked Chase’s driving style, and we both feel he’s the right guy to take our team forward during this transition. We’re excited to have him on board and ready to hit the ground running in 2026.”

Gutshall also expressed his gratitude for the opportunity. “I can’t thank Scott and Lori enough for believing in me and giving me this chance,” he said. “I’m also extremely thankful to their sponsors for their support and confidence in me to keep things moving in the right direction. This is a top-notch team, and I’m grateful for everyone involved.”

Sponsorship Outlook for 2026

Scott Hess Racing is pleased to announce that all current team sponsors will be returning to the No. 88 machine for the 2026 racing season, with the addition of Gutshall’s Automotive joining the program. Should additional sponsorship be secured, the team will explore the possibility of fielding a Wingless Sportsman entry at select events in support of Gutshall.

For those interested in sponsoring the team or for inquiries regarding availability and pricing, please contact Scott Hess, Chase Gutshall, or reach out to Addicted2Dirt.

Tony Jackson Closes Storybook Farewell Season with Scott Hess Racing; Team Posts 15 Wins and Captures Two Wingless Championships

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Newville, PA – December 10, 2025

by Justin Snyder / Addicted2Dirt PR & Media Mgmt

Image Credit:  Tim Basehore / WRT Speedwerx

Tony Jackson and Scott Hess Racing put the exclamation point on a remarkable season in 2025, competing in 37 events across both the winged and wingless Sportsman divisions and delivering a results sheet that read like a highlight reel: 15 victories, 8 runner-up finishes, four third-place runs, one fourth, and three fifth-place finishes.

Even more telling than the trophies was the week-to-week consistency. The team never finished outside the top five unless sidelined by mechanical failure or an on-track accident, a testament to preparation, execution, and the steady partnership between driver and team.

“It was like a dream year. It kind of stings a little bit to walk away after a year like that, but we’ll embrace what we did and see where things go from here,” said Jackson.

The season’s momentum culminated in two championships, with Jackson and Hess securing the Wingless Championship at Path Valley Speedway and the Hess Ornamental Iron Wingless Tour Championship as well—an unforgettable pair of titles that perfectly framed a year that began with major news.

Prior to the season, Jackson announced that 2025 would be his final year before stepping away into retirement, adding extra meaning to every victory lane photo, podium celebration, and championship moment.

“Knowing this was my last full season made every race count a little more,” Jackson added. “To be able to finish it like this—with wins, with championships, and with the people who’ve meant so much to me—this is the kind of ending you dream about.”

Now, with the season complete, Jackson looks back on his career with gratitude and pride, excited for what’s next while reflecting fondly on his time behind the wheel.

“Racing has given me memories I’ll carry forever, and to say I was part of the history of the Sportsman division is pretty darn special,” Jackson said. “I’m proud of what we accomplished, and I’m thankful for everyone who supported me—my family, my crew, and every fan who cheered us on. I’m excited for the next chapter, but I’ll always be grateful for this one.”

For team owner Scott Hess, the offseason is already taking shape. Plans are currently being assembled to place a new driver in the seat for the 2026 season, but Hess emphasized that moving on from Jackson doesn’t close the door on the partnership.

“Tony’s retirement is bittersweet for all of us,” Hess said. “You don’t replace a driver like that—you build the next chapter and appreciate what you had. And I’ll say this: there will always be a seat warm for Tony here. If he ever gets the itch to race again, we’ll be ready.”

“The expectations were to always win some races and have fun racing, but Tony not only exceeded the expectations, but he set a precedent that will be hard to match going forward. I didn’t even know Tony when we started racing, and through racing we’ve built quite a relationship, but now we’re pretty much family, and I can’t thank him enough.”

Scott Hess Racing will announce additional 2026 plans—including driver and schedule details—at a later date.

ABOUT  TONY JACKSON

With an impressive track record in the Super Sportsman series, Jackson has consistently demonstrated exceptional talent, determination, and an unwavering passion for the sport. Over the years, he has carved a name for himself as a formidable force, capturing the attention of fans, competitors, and sponsors alike. He’s also looking forward to continuing his family’s legacy, as his father Larry Jackson was a force to be reckoned with for decades in the Sportsman ranks.

Career highlights include winning the Super Sportsman 100-lapper in 2023, winning the winged and wingless super sportsman features on the same night in 2022, and amassing 46 career Super Sportsman wins!
